Part of the excitement of moving into a new neighborhood is the exploration phase… that time where everything is new and finding your path to comfortable living is built brick by brick (aka “bar by bar”, “restaurant by restaurant”). If you’ve recently walked along Manhattan Ave in Greenpoint between about 7pm and 10pm on a weeknight, you might have noticed a small, understated place with steamy windows and an inordinate number of people crammed inside. The place is called The Habitat and as a public service announcement, I’m going to have to warn you all that this place can be habit forming.
